Buff Dudes Cutting Plan Prep Phase Workout: (To Be Performed Every Other Day, 3 Days a Week for 3 Weeks)
Rest Times: 90 Seconds Between Compound Exercises, 60 Between Isolation.

DAY 1 – Full Body

Back Squats 5 sets x 5 reps
Bent Over Rows 5 sets x 5 reps
Flat Barbell Press 5 sets x 5 reps
Push Press 5 sets x 5 reps
Cable Rope Triceps Extensions 3 sets x 10 reps
Lateral Raise 3 sets x 10 reps
Seated Calf Raise 3 sets x 10 reps

Day 2 – Full body

Deadlifts 5 sets x 5 reps
Pull-Ups 5 sets x 5 reps (weighted if needed)
Incline Press 5 sets x 5 reps
Overhead Press 5 sets x 5 reps
Barbell Curls 3 sets x 10 reps
Bent Over Reverse Flys 3 sets x 10 reps
Standing Calf Raises 3 sets x 10 reps

Day 3 – Full body

Front Squats 5 sets x 5 reps
Pendlay Rows 5 sets x 5 reps
Chest Dips 5 sets x 5 reps (weighted if needed)
Single Arm Dumbbell Shoulder Press 5 sets x 5 reps
Single Arm Dumbbell Triceps Extensions 3 sets x 10 reps
Cable Front Raises 3 sets x 10 reps
Seated Calf Raises 3 sets x 10 reps

  7. Respected Dudes, your Prep plan has full body movements and isolation exercises but they all are targeted towards weight training. What about role of cardio for cutting? Yes or No? If yes, then how much and when? Any thoughts on that Sir?

    Happy new year! I am having a problem on both of my knees, I've worked out I don't have any pain or something but squads and deadlifts are giving me lot of pain the next day how can I replace them?

  20. i have a question, whats a good cuting diet? i am very obesed and i seem not be able to lose anything, while i am saying this what hurts me the most is i hate cooking and i have a slow metabolism. also how do i find the right weight to lift for the 5×5

  21. I do the 3 days of 5×5 with 3-4 days of hiit cardio in the gym. Is that seem reasonable if I stay consistent with?

    We all have different goals in life. Some like science, some like books, some like to earn loads of money, some like to lift. Some like to do a bit of each. Yes, if you want to look like a greek god maybe you have to cut some stuff out, only because we humans don't have endless mental energy (most of us don't, i am sure there is a billionaire or two who also overly-excels in other fields of human activity).
    But what i do notice is that the extremers in all of these activities are very tunnel-vision minded, and believe their way is not sacrificing some other parts of their life. But maybe that is a necessary mental biproduct of such extreme excellence in a field of human activity?
