5-Minute Warm Up for At-Home Workouts



Before any workout–and especially a high intensity one!–it’s important to prepare your body. Depending on the type of workout you’re about to do and any muscle imbalances or recovering injuries you have, a proper warm up will vary. In general though, you want to include some light-to-moderate cardio to gradually increase the heart rate and some dynamic (active) stretches for joint mobility.

This 5-minute warm up is made with the at-home workouts I post to my blog in mind. We’ll start with two minutes of cardio bodyweight exercises and then move onto active stretches for a functional range of motion.

    Yall sayin' "oh this is my workout, im really out of shape" then bitch, do something about it. Like, youre sitting here, munchin this big af cake and saying to yourself "this is unhealthy" GET OFF OF YOUR ASS AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. I'm young, and this really shouldn't be a problem for someone at my age, but I feel like I'm fat. So here I am, NOT ON MY ASS doing something about it. So you do the same! Do a proper workout. Start at 5 minutes, and build your way up. You dont need to make your own workout. Follow one online. Stop fucking complaining about how fat you are. Work on it, and improve.

    15s butt kick.
    15s high knees.
    Repeat once.
    3 alt back lunge
    3x stretch x2
    Roll up.
    3x squats.
    3x shoulder stretch x2.
    5 alt cross stretch.
    3x knee rotate x2
    Repeat reversed.
    10x Arm fan
    Arm circles.
